***OUR ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS ARE NOW ALIGNED WITH THE GEORGIA PERFORMANCE STANDARDS***

The Wildlife Rehabilitation Sanctuary, located in Ellijay, has been caring for North Georgia’s injured, orphaned and endangered wildlife for over 40 years and has served hundreds of schools in North Georgia through their mobile and on-site environmental education programs. We care for all indigenous wildlife from the smallest mammals and reptiles to the largest carnivores and birds of prey. The sanctuary is not a zoo and is not open to the general public. Visitation is usually by appointment only or on one of our scheduled Family Days each summer. read more about our educational programs
